HURRICANE IRMA

PRODUCING A POSITIVE OUTCOME FOR THE STATE OF FLORIDA

Hurricane Irma was the strongest storm on record to exist in the open Atlantic region.

On September 4, 2017, the Florida State governor's office declared a state of emergency with over 190,000 people seeking shelter. The Hurricane left over 60% of the state's population without electricity.

Disaster Recovery Outcome

FCMC was contracted to direct the Disaster Recovery efforts by the governor's office. We were proud to coordinate a recovery effort that received positive, national recognition for the state.
